The Lelo Loki Wave is one of my go-to sex toys. It is a great development from the first Lelo Loki so I thought I would share with you my full review of the Loki Wave.
Lelo Loki far exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, which was not the case with its predecessor.
With a luxurious look and feel, the Loki Wave has become one of my favorite sex toys.
Loki Wave is a prostate massager and if you are new to prostate massagers then this one might be a little adventurous.
The Loki Wave performs way better than most male sex toys from Lelo. As it has two arms, it covers some spots that other sex toys are not able to reach, making the Loki Wave different.
My first impression was that it took some inspiration from the Ina Wave in terms of design. It looks like a female rabbit vibrator, but it is actually for prostate stimulation.
FYI- If you are looking for something for your wife then Ina Wave 2 is the perfect toy.
After testing out the Loki Wave for days, I have had my fair share of opinions about the good things it has introduced as well as the cons that come with the sex toy.
So in this review, I will show you my experience on how the Lelo Loki Wave became one of my most-used sex toys and see whether it is for you or not.

Verdict: Is It A Must-buy?
Despite some minor disadvantages, the Lelo Loki Wave has more advantages and features you cannot find on other sex toys.
If you are willing to spend $219 on a sex toy, you better spend it on the best, and the Lelo Loki Wave is the best you can get for that price.
How Does Lelo Loki Wave Work?
The Loki Wave has two arms and both vibrate and stimulate different parts. The main arm is the larger insertable arm that is inserted inside the butt.
The second one is smaller in size and stimulates the external part of the body or the perineum. Both have separate motors and vibrate independently.
The second arm moves and is flexible so it can easily stimulate the external organs without it being painful.
Come Hither Feature
One of the more exciting features of the Loki Wave is the “come hither” motion. Aside from the vibrations, the arm of the Loki Wave also moves horizontally to give the prostate a stimulating feeling.
The come hither feature is basically where the main arm of the Loki Wave moves back and forth to stimulate the p-spot in a repetitive motion.
I know some users might initially find this motion unusual but once you get used to it, I started appreciating the come hither motion as it is better at reaching the right spot compared to just vibrations.
How Does It Feel?
As the arms push forward, it grazes the prostate like it is being fingered. As the arms move back, it sort of grips onto the p-spot which makes the vibrations feel deeper.
This unique motion and feel that the Loki Wave provides keeps me hooked and coming back for more.
It exerts just the right amount of pressure on the prostate.
Vibrations And Motion Patterns,
Of course, we cannot go into a sex toy without talking about the vibrations and motions. The Loki Wave is similar to other toys when it comes to vibrations and patterns.
With buttons barely in my reach, I could somehow control the strength of the vibrations and select the patterns of vibrations that I want.
I can say that the vibrations from the Loki Wave are not the strongest vibrations I have experienced from a sex toy.
If I were to rate the vibrations from the Loki Wave, it would be 3 to 3.5 out of 5. It can be improved to get more power.
This makes the toy perfect for someone who is not into EXTREMELY strong vibrations and someone who is a beginner(ofcourse consider the size of the toy).
Here is what I found in terms of vibrations and motions:
- The Loki Wave is easy to use with the buttons on the handle but can sometimes be hard to reach.
- It can be used hands-off momentarily but I do have to hold it every once in a while to keep it stable, especially during max vibration power.
- The Loki Wave has two motors, one for the insertable arm, and the other one for the external arm which stimulates the perineum.
- With the combination of pressure from the main arm and the vibrations, it was enough for me but some people might find the vibrations weak.
- There are 5 vibration strengths and 5 patterns to choose from. You can also select the vibrations with a forward or reverse button so you can go back to the previous pattern that you like.
- The sex toy moves back and forth as it vibrates so it does not numb a single area. Instead, it stimulates a wider area for a better sensation.
How Does Lelo Loki Perform: Review
After applying a lot of water-based lube, the Loki Wave was pretty easy to insert and remove. It has a tapered head so it was fairly easy to put inside.
It has a great stimulating motion and vibration that I did not need to use other sex toys to help me with stimulation first before using the Loki Wave.
The come hither…
The back-and-forth motion from the insertable arm gave enough pressure to press against the prostate and feel like it was being fingered.
Add the vibrations and you have yourself a really good sensation that is repeatedly pushing in and out of the right spot.
Since the arm was curved against the prostate, the sensation felt even deeper. The slightly flat head could also come into contact with a wider area.
What about the external arm?
The perineal arm sits outside right underneath the testicles. Since it has a separate motor, it was able to provide just enough sensation to stimulate that specific area.
It also adds to the pressure that the main arm provides. So as the insertable arm moves back and forth inside, the external arm meets the pressure and vibration from the outside.
As I turned up the vibrations, the perineal arm started to provide the real sensation that I was looking for.
It was able to stimulate the perineum perfectly as the prostate was being handled by the main arm inside.
Are there any disadvantages?
There are. Surprisingly, the sex toy itself hardly moves while inside, but you need to hold it every now and then.
However, as the vibrations and motions intensified, I tried to concentrate on the sensation and had a bit of a challenge when it came time to press the buttons for the vibrations.
So finding the right power, vibrations, and motion is essential as you approach the climax so you do not scramble to control and find the buttons underneath.
This is a learning curve; it just gets better with using the toy and getting used to the controls.
Size Of Lelo Loki Wave – Is It A Good Fit For Everyone?
The Lelo Loki Wave has 100mm of insertable length or 3.9 inches which is decent and can reach the p-spot.
On its widest point, the Loki Wave has a diameter of 1.47 inches which is just wide enough to be comfortable for insertion and also wide enough to stimulate a relatively wider area.
I do not recommend it for beginners as you might feel uncomfortable with this size.
If you haven’t used butt plugs and you want to try out sex toys for prostate stimulation, the Loki Wave might be too wide for you.
You can try out smaller sex toys such as the We-Vibe Vector, which is only around an inch in diameter at its widest part.
It will be easier to insert and more comfortable while it is vibrating.
The Loki Wave is for people who have had some sort of experience with prostate massagers and are trying to have a deeper sensation and pressure.
The Noise Produced By Lelo Loki Wave Is Unbelievable!
One of the first things that I look into before ordering a sex toy is the sound it produces. The Loki Wave is a discreet sex toy as it barely made any sound.
To give you some context, I tried it with my partner standing 10 feet away from the sex toy. When the come hither was turned on without the vibrations, my partner could not hear it.
I did the other way around and turned the vibrations on without the come hither motion. It made the same result as she could not hear the sex toy.
When the vibrations and the come hither motion were both turned on to the max level, my partner said there was a slight buzzing sound that she could barely hear.
So can it be heard from the other room?
That was tested with an open door so I am pretty confident that other people will not be able to hear the sex toy with the door closed.
A person would have to be leaning into the door and try really hard to listen to it for the Loki Wave to be heard from another room.

Is It Waterproof?
Yes, the Loki Wave is 100% waterproof so it is perfect for using in the bath or the shower. Since it is made with silicone, water can also be easily wiped off after using it.
It makes it easier for cleaning as well so you can really get into the crevices and remove any gunk or dirt that has gathered on the toy.
Since you are going to need a lot of water-based lube, the waterproof silicone also helps in making the Loki Wave easier to insert if you use more lube.
Battery Life Of The Lelo Loki Wave
The battery life of the Loki Wave allows you to go full-on with max vibrations and come hither for up to 2 hours.
This is good for a prostate massager as it generally takes more time to stimulate the prostate than the penis.
The charging time of the Loki Wave also takes 2 hours, and the best thing about this is that you can use the Loki Wave while it is charging.
So that means you do not have to wait for 2 hours before you can use the Loki Wave.
The LED on top of the control buttons will produce a steady glow when fully charged.
You can continue using it while charging if it goes out in the middle of your session.
The charging port of the Loki Wave can be found at the bottom of the handle, which makes it easier to charge it and use it at the same time.
Maintenance And Cleaning Lelo Loki Wave
Since the Loki Wave is covered entirely with body-safe silicone and is waterproof, it is really easy to clean.
Simply rinse it with warm water on the sink or in a basin with mild soap. You can also use a sex toy cleaner, but it is unnecessary.
There is a small gap between the handle and the arms of the Loki Wave so pay attention to that area, as it usually collects gunk.
When this happens, I use a wooden toothpick to pry the gunk out of the small gap, although it will take some time before you notice any dirt in there.
After rinsing and drying the Loki Wave, you can place it in the bag that comes with the toy and the charger cable, and it is ready to be tucked away.
